For the beginner, it is excellent. It states very clearly (with images) ailments in a very brief way without going into too much detail. |

Great information and I really liked the bit about Chapman as it was more detailed than other books I have and their brief outline on what he has done. |

Loved the photos, there are so many colours we don't have here - so it was nice seeing them and in colour too. I cheat and flick through looking at the photos then go back and read the book lol. |

Again, like the Chinchilla A-Z Health & Sickness Bible - this is another most recent one and if i was just starting out with chins - that would be a huge drawcard for me to get this one compared to the 'older' books. I love it that you didn't promote feeding fresh veges or fruit. |

I think it would be a great book for a novice as it's detailed, informative and current, a great book to read and refer to from time to time for the more experienced owner as well. Great for a chinnie library :) |

Brilliant! There is no other chinchilla book out there like it!!! |

A great help being able to visually see the symptoms of certain illnesses. The photos were really interesting. |

Excellent as there is no other chinchilla book that lists all these illnesses and what to look out for. A photo with each illness also helps to know what im looking for. |

I thought this book was a great find! The time and work that must of gone into it is unmeasureable. I have a few chinchilla books and none of them go into as much detail as this one with regards to illnesses, cures and preventions. The photos are amazing as they are all about what to 'look out for' as most books just include pictures of cute chinchillas. This is definately a 'one-off' book and not like any other out there! |
